Lork Group is a leading supplier and exporter of AISI 304/304L pipes and tubes. Stainless Steel Pipe 304/304L is a tubular product made from 304/304L Stainless Steel Alloy.
304/304L Stainless Steel Alloy offers excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to many corrosive agents. It is ideal for applications where sanitation and cleanliness are critical. This alloy is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. While cold working can increase hardness and tensile strength, the lowered carbon content ensures strong corrosion resistance in welded constructions where subsequent heat treatment is impractical.
Grade 304L (L = low carbon) has the same properties as 304 but with an ultra-low carbon composition. This prevents harmful precipitation in the 800°F to 1500°F range, which could otherwise occur when welding thicker sections.
