321 Stainless Steel Strip (AMS 5510, ASTM A240)

321 Stainless Steel Strip (AMS 5510, ASTM A240)

321 stainless steel strip is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel with excellent resistance to oxidation and intergranular corrosion. The 321 steel strip supplied by Lork Group is generally manufactured to the aviation standard AMS 5510 or the general standard ASTM A240.

321 stainless steel strip (AMS 5510, ASTM A240) is a classic material designed to address intergranular corrosion and adapt to medium- and high-temperature environments. Its titanium-stabilized properties give it irreplaceable advantages in welded components and high-temperature applications. If your work environment involves welding or continuous operation at high temperatures,321 steel strip is an extremely reliable choice.

In our industry, 321 steel strip is considered a common material that can be bought anywhere. It looks similar to 304 steel strip and is priced similarly, but people who buy it are basically trying to solve the same problem-the worry of breakage after welding.

We supply 321 steel strip in commonly available thicknesses of 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm, and 1.2mm. Tolerances are typically 0.01mm (for precision stamping parts) and ±0.03mm (for industrial applications). Delivery conditions include soft (annealed) and hard (1/4H, 1/2H, H), etc.

Special reminder: If you are making deep-drawn parts, elongation is more critical than strength; if you are making parts for high-temperature applications, the amount of titanium is crucial.
