Delivery status

Lork Group completed an order of Haynes 25 (also known as L-605 or WF-11) alloy round bars exported to Switzerland in December 2025, once again demonstrating our sincere commitment to cobalt-nickel alloy material standards and our ability to solve customer application problems and meet customer needs. The alloy bars were manufactured strictly according to ASTM F90 standards, in two specifications: 30.9mm x 98mm and 20.0mm x 125mm. They underwent our rigorous, standardized, and professional production and inspection processes. Every step ensured that the final product passed all quality tests before delivery.

Our product range is not limited to cobalt alloy round bars, but also covers the full range of Haynes 25 products, including plates, strips, wires, tubes, and related processed parts. We strictly adhere to international standards such as ASTM, EN, and AMS, ensuring that all Haynes 25 products possess superior quality, highly competitive prices, and fast delivery times.

Note: Due to customer privacy and confidentiality regulations, we have modified some details regarding the products supplied by Lork Group. Please contact us for more detailed product information.

Finished product display

After the Haynes 25 Cobalt Alloy bars are manufactured, we conduct quality inspections, perform appropriate cleaning based on the surface finish of the bars, and measure the diameter of the upper and lower ends, as well as the length, to ensure they meet customer requirements.

Premium packaging

Based on the characteristics of Haynes 25 material and customer requirements, we chose wooden crate packaging with three layers of polyethylene bubble wrap padding to prevent damage to the rods during transportation.

Large-scale measurement

In principle, diameter tolerance testing should be performed on steel bars of different specifications from the same batch to ensure they are within the customer's required range.

Tolerance measurement

During the sampling and secondary re-inspection process, photographs and records must be taken throughout to facilitate data comparison and traceability.

Length measurement

Using a vernier caliper, we measured the lengths of rods of different specifications. Since the customer requires further processing, we have retained an appropriate amount of extra material for them.

Due to the large amount of data from the batch testing of these 150 items, only a portion of the illustrations are shown here. For more technical parameter documents, videos, or images of Haynes 25, please contact us online!

Lork Group Procurement Notes:

Based on our experience, when inquiring or placing an order, clearly specify the applicable standard (e.g., ASTM F90), the required condition (e.g., solution treated), dimensional tolerance grade, and inspection requirements (e.g., ultrasonic testing level).

Due to its difficult machinability, consider whether the supplier offers pre-machining or semi-finishing services to reduce subsequent manufacturing costs and risks.

Core Characteristics and Requirements (Based on Standards)

Chemical Composition:

Cobalt-based: Approximately 50% Co.

Chromium: Approximately 20% Cr (provides excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance).

Tungsten: Approximately 15% W (main solid solution strengthening element).

Nickel: Approximately 10% Ni.

Trace elements such as carbon, manganese, and silicon must be strictly controlled.

Mechanical Properties (Typical Mechanical Properties for Haynes 25 Bar):

Tensile Strength at Room Temperature: ≥ 1000 MPa.

Yield Strength (0.2% offset): ≥ 460 MPa.

Elongation: ≥ 30%.

Hardness: Approximately HRC 20-30 (depending on heat treatment condition).

Physical and Processing Properties:

Excellent high-temperature strength: Maintains good strength and oxidation resistance up to 1800°F (approximately 980°C).

Outstanding corrosion resistance: Resists corrosion in various industrial atmospheres and salt spray environments.

Machinability: Has an austenitic structure and is non-magnetic, but exhibits extremely high work hardening rates, making it a difficult-to-machine material requiring specialized tools and processes.

Heat Treatment:

Typically supplied in a solution annealed condition to achieve optimal ductility and corrosion resistance. Aging treatment can also be performed depending on the subsequent application.
