Hastelloy Alloy C2000 Strip (UNS N06200 / W.Nr. 2.4675 / ASTM B575)
Product Introduction
Hastelloy alloy c2000 (UNS N06200 / W.Nr. 2.4675) strip is used in chemical equipment (reactors, heat exchangers), environmental engineering (flue gas desulfurization), and energy sectors (nuclear energy, oil and gas). Our typical supply specifications for Hastelloy C2000 are a thickness of 0.5-1.0mm and a width of 10-300mm, supplied in roll form. It is usually delivered in an annealed condition.
Alloy c2000 is manufactured by adding copper (Cu) to the Ni-Cr-Mo system, enabling it to withstand both oxidising and reducing media, thus achieving excellent performance in complex industrial environments.
The market reference price for hastelloy C2000 nickel alloy strip is approximately RMB 170-240 per kilogram (subject to real-time confirmation due to market fluctuations, specifications, estimated finishing costs, and purchase volume).
Manufacturing Process and Challenges
Heat Treatment: Hastelloy alloy c2000 strip is supplied in a solution-treated state, typically at 1120-1170°C, followed by rapid water cooling. This dissolves any second phase that may form during processing, resulting in a uniform austenitic structure that ensures optimal corrosion resistance and ductility.
Cold Working: Alloy c2000 strip exhibits good cold forming capabilities (e.g., bending, stamping). However, its work-hardening rate is relatively high, and complex forming processes may require intermediate annealing.
Importantly, alloy c2000 strip with a thickness of 0.05mm-0.5mm is currently unavailable on the market. Ultra-thin materials need to be developed through metallurgical methods, which represents a breakthrough for our technological innovation.

Market Conditions
- Price and cost:
Pricing: The raw material cost of alloy c2000 is greatly affected by the prices of nickel, molybdenum, and chromium. A fluctuation in LME nickel prices can cause the price to change three times a month. We try to plan our procurement when prices are stable, or procure immediately after receiving a quote.
Cost: Our cost calculation for this type of strip is usually based on a combination of thickness, width, hardness, and quantity. Thinner strips are more expensive, narrower strips are more expensive, and tempered strips are more expensive than annealed strips.
- Spot Specifications and Slitting:
Standard Spot Inventory: Our alloy c2000, with common thicknesses (0.5-1.0mm), has a minimum order quantity of approximately 50-100kg, suitable for sample testing before formal bulk purchases.
Slitting Capability: Slitting strips is a core demonstration of our customisation capabilities. We can slit rolls to specified widths (width controlled between 1.00 mm and 100 mm) according to customer requirements, with width tolerances controlled according to applicable standards. This precision machining allows customers to use it directly.
- Quality Inspection and Contract Signing:
We have shipping case studies of hastelloy alloy c2000, with archived quality inspection photos, Handheld spectrometer testing videos, etc. This is to confirm whether the Cu and Mo content in the material's chemical composition meets the requirements.
We recommend that you include important details in the contract, such as the content ranges, standards, and quality testing requirements (e.g., corrosion testing requirements) for copper, molybdenum, and chromium. Copper content, in particular, is crucial for compliance with the C-2000 standard.
