Monel K500 (UNS N05500 / W.Nr. 2.4375) is a nickel-copper alloy which combines the excellent corrosion resistance of MONEL alloy 400 with the added advantages of greater strength and hardness. The increased properties are obtained by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base.
Monel K500 sheet is made up of a nickel copper alloy that has 63% nickel and 28% copper minimum with carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur and iron in the composition.Alloy K500 sheet has very high melting point of 1350 degrees Celsius which makes it applicable in high temperature applications, also has a higher tensile strength and yield strength with high density.
