   Heat Treatment:

   The alloy is typically supplied in the solution annealed condition. Solution heat treatment is critical to ensuring performance, typically performed at temperatures between 1150°C and 1200°C, followed by rapid cooling (either water quenching or air cooling).

   Forming and Machining:

Hot/Cold Forming: The alloy exhibits good formability in the annealed state, but cold workhardening occurs rapidly and intermediate annealing may be required.

Machining: This is a difficult-to-machine material, requiring tools, cutting parameters, and coolants tailored for nickel-based alloys.
