Hastelloy C-22HS Pipe(UNS N07022)
Hastelloy C-22HS Pipe(UNS N07022)
Hastelloy C-22HS (UNS N07022) is a very special nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Its core advantage lies in combining the superior corrosion resistance of C-type alloys with extremely high mechanical strength. Designed specifically for the oil and gas industry, this "high-strength C-type alloy" achieves an exceptional balance of strength and corrosion resistance through compositional optimization and specific cold working/heat treatment processes based on the C-22 alloy. It has been incorporated into the highest testing level requirements of the NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 standards.

Key Performance Advantages
Ultra-High Strength:
Through cold working or cold working + aging, strength far exceeding that of other C-type alloys can be achieved. For example, the yield strength of cold-worked pipes can reach 1291 MPa (187.3 ksi), while cold working + aging further increases it to 1370 MPa (198.7 ksi), while still maintaining good plasticity and toughness. In the solution-treated + aged state, the strength is also approximately twice that of ordinary C-type alloys.
Superior Corrosion Resistance:
Overall Corrosion Resistance: Inheriting the excellent properties of C-type alloys, it exhibits outstanding resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids.
Localized Corrosion Resistance: It has extremely high resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments.
Acidic Environment Resistance: It performs exceptionally well in harsh acidic oil and gas environments containing H₂S, CO₂, and elemental sulfur.

Core Application Area: Oil and Gas Industry

C-22HS pipe is known as the "preferred nickel-chromium-molybdenum corrosion-resistant material for the oil and gas industry," specifically designed for this sector. It is particularly suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure oil and gas wells, as well as harsh acidic environments containing hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon dioxide (CO₂), chlorides, and elemental sulfur-the "wet acid environment."
Specific Components: Its combination of high strength and corrosion resistance makes it an ideal choice for manufacturing critical downhole and wellhead equipment such as wellhead components, valves, valve stems, seals, springs, fasteners, pipes, and fittings.
