Hastelloy B3 Pipe
Lork Group is a leading supplier and exporter of the Hastelloy B3 pipe and tubes. Alloy B3 is a nickel-molybdenum solid solution strengthened super-alloy with a nominal chemical composition of 65% nickel and 28% molybdenum with additions of iron, manganese, tungsten, and cobalt. universal designation UNS N10675. Known for its resistance to reducing acids, particularly hydrochloric and sulfuric, and also has good thermal stability.
In addition, Hastelloy B3 pipe is highly resistant to knife-line and heat-affected zone attacks. Hastelloy B3 can also withstand non-oxidizing media such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, and phosphoric acid. This nickel alloy has excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at various concentrations and temperatures. The distinguishing feature of Hastelloy B3 is that it retains excellent ductility during transient exposure to moderate temperatures. This exposure often occurs during thermal processing associated with manufacturing.
