Lork Group filed its patent application on August 14, 2025, and officially received authorization from the State Intellectual Property Office on July 21, 2026. The patent certificates have now been issued. These three patents relate to solidification molds for aero-engine blades, semiconductor target melting and purification equipment, and precipitation-hardening stainless steel solution heat treatment equipment, covering three key technology areas: aerospace, semiconductor devices, and high-end metals. This signifies a new level of independent R&D capability for Lork Group in key technology fields. Patent 1 - Solidification Mold for Aircraft Engine Blades

 

Aero-engine blades are hailed as the "crown jewel" of modern industry, and the solidification process is the core factor determining blade quality and performance. With the continuous development of aero-engines, blade structures are becoming increasingly complex, placing extremely high demands on the forming process.

 

In traditional blade solidification processes, the simple design of the mold cooling structure easily leads to fatal casting defects in the alloy melt during forming, severely affecting the blade's microstructure density and yield, and even causing the scrapping of an entire batch of blades, resulting in huge cost losses.

 

Our R&D team has innovatively designed an optimized blade solidification mold solution to address these industry-wide pain points. Semiconductor sputtering targets are key high-purity metal or alloy materials used in physical vapor deposition (PVD) sputtering processes to form conductive or barrier layers on silicon wafers.

 

However, the melting and purification technology for high-purity targets is not easily achieved. The core bottleneck in the melting process of high-melting-point metal targets lies in efficiently removing metallic impurities, gaseous impurities, and non-metallic inclusions from the raw materials, ensuring the uniformity of the melt composition and batch-to-batch stability. Traditional melting equipment generally suffers from low impurity removal efficiency and susceptibility to secondary contamination, making it difficult to meet the stringent purity requirements of semiconductor processes.

 

Our company's independently developed semiconductor sputtering and purification device represents a systematic innovation addressing these technical challenges. It effectively solves the problems of localized overheating and temperature runaway during the melting process, achieving efficient removal and volatilization of impurities in the melt and elevating purification efficiency and purity stability to a new level.

Precipitation-hardening stainless steels (such as 15-5PH and 13-8Mo) are widely used in high-reliability load-bearing components in the aerospace, nuclear, and petrochemical industries due to their combination of ultra-high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good toughness.

Solution heat treatment is a key process for achieving the superior comprehensive mechanical properties of these materials. Temperature uniformity, cooling rate, and process stability directly determine the final state and performance of the material. However, traditional heat treatment equipment generally exhibits uneven temperature distribution (temperature differences of ±15℃ or more), which can easily lead to quality defects in the same batch of treated materials, especially in mass production.

Lork has successfully developed a solution heat treatment device for precipitation-hardening stainless steel to address these common technical challenges in the industry. This significantly improves batch-to-batch performance consistency, making it particularly suitable for mass production scenarios with extremely stringent quality and reliability requirements, such as aerospace forging rings and petrochemical valve stems. The successful development of this device solves a long-standing and significant process control problem in the high-end equipment manufacturing field.
