Incoloy 825 Round Bar is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of copper, molybdenum, and titanium. It is a corrosion-resistant alloy with excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments.The nickel, in conjunction with the molybdenum and copper, also provides outstanding resistance to reducing environments, such as those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids. The molybdenum also aids resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. And the titanium addition serves to stabilize the alloy – following appropriate heat treatment – against sensitization to inter-granular corrosion.
Alloy 825 Round Bar has excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in sulfuric and phosphoric acids. It is also resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular corrosion. It has high strength and excellent weldability.Used in a variety of applications such as chemical processing, pollution control equipment, oil and gas industry, marine engineering, and nuclear fuel reprocessing.
