Incoloy 803 Alloy Bar
Incoloy 803 alloy bar (UNS S35045) is an alloy comprising of iron-nickel and chromium, with a high nickel and chromium content compared to other incoloy alloys. This alloy proves to be a cost effective alternative for replacing other alloys that are used in corrosive reducing, oxidizing and sulfidising environments.
Incoloy 803 alloy bar exhibits good long term thermal stability, excellent stress rupture characteristics which together with a good fabrication capability has caused the material to be used in the latest generation of reformer furnaces as internally finned pyrolysis tubing particularly in ethylene service. Compatible welding consumables are available and good welding characteristics are excellent in the forming of harps with associated weldolets.
