Does not respond to heat treatment.
Annealing
Hastelloy W is annealed at 1185°C (2165°F) for 15 min followed by quenching in water.

Hastelloy W alloy bar is used as a weld metal filler rod, and can also be used in the wrought bar form for high temperature applications.
