PH 15-7mo bars is a semi-austenitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. These rods combines moderate corrosion resistance with high strength and hardness at operating temperatures up to 900 degree F.
PH 15-7mo bar also known as UNS S15700 Round Bars,can withstand all kinds of cold forming and welding process under the condition of austenite.then through heat treatment can obtain the highest strength ,Under 550 ℃ with excellent high temperature strength.
PH 15-7mo bar electric welding property：The steel can adopt arc welding, resistance welding and gas shielded arc welding, gas shielded welding is the best. Welding is often done in materials solid solution treatment conditions,and do not need to preheat before welding.
When welding requires high strength, the 17-7 with lower content of δ- ferrite is chosen mostly,austenitic stainless steel welding wire can be used.
