Monel R405 Key Attributes
Compositionally, Monel R405 is very similar to Monel 400, but with greater sulfur content added to produce sulfide inclusions, which act as chip breakers during machining processes. Monel R405 can be fabricated, heat-treated, and pickled using the same procedures as Monel 400.
